A 28-year old woman was knocked down by a running dog which resulted in a tibial plateau fracture of the right knee and a lipohemarthrosis and popliteal cyst resulting in the placement of a tibial plate, four 3.7 locking screws, two 3.5 distal nonlocking cortical screws and a bone graft.
30 year old man died from his injuries when he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle on the side of the road in the dark. Liability was contested due to the lighting and weather conditions at the time of the crash.
