2026 Scholarship Winner: Abigail Reese
After learning she won the 2026 scholarship award, Abigail had this to say:
My name is Abigail Reese, and I am from Dacula, Georgia. This fall, I will be attending Georgia Tech to major in Aerospace Engineering and fulfill my dream of playing in the Yellow Jacket marching band. A central part of my life is giving back to others, which led me to serve as Vice President of the National Honor Society, Secretary of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, and a member of Beta Club. Beyond community leadership, I am deeply passionate about the arts—whether it is performing in wind symphonies and honor bands, or working backstage crew and singing with my peers in the theater department, I love it all. I am incredibly excited to bring this dedication to leadership, service, and creativity with me to campus as a Yellow Jacket!
“I am incredibly grateful to receive this scholarship and deeply honored to represent an organization dedicated to safety advocacy. As a future aerospace engineer, safety is the foundation of everything I hope to build, and this generous support allows me to focus fully on designing a more secure and innovative future at Georgia Tech. Thank you so much to the people over at Maschka Personal Injury for believing in me and supporting my journey!”
