Maschka, Riedy, Ries & Frentz is thrilled to be an entertainment sponsor for the Crave fundraising event, hosted by Feeding Our Communities Partners (FOCP). This sold-out event will be held on September 26th, 2024, at the MNSU Ballroom. This unique fundraising event is a culinary competition featuring accomplished and inspiring chefs across Southern Minnesota. This competition will have the chefs create creative dishes all while raising money for the Feeding Our Communities Partners. All of the chefs will create a brand new dish and attendees will take part in a 9-course meal. The local chefs in this competition are:
Additionally, this fundraiser will showcase a performance from The Danger Committee, who have recently been featured on America’s Got Talent for their iconic duels and multiple raffles throughout the night.
We are grateful to be a part of such an amazing event and contribute to funding the FOCP as they approach the 2024-2025 school year. The FOCP aims to support our community youth through initiatives such as Crave. Youth hunger is an issue that demands our community’s attention. We know that in our very own community, many are struggling to make ends meet. Many young individuals don’t have their first meal of the day until their school provides it, that is why the work of the FOCP is so important because they work to not only provide free lunch for students but work endlessly on their BackPack Food Program to give kids breakfast, snacks, and lunches during the school day, for weekends and during school breaks.
