Jed Chronic, Partner

Jed Chronic has been recognized for obtaining exceptional results representing people across the country. For over 15 years Jed’s caseload has primarily focused on complex wrongful death and serious injury cases involving defectively designed or manufactured products, semi-truck crashes, car crashes, and construction projects. Jed also litigates probate and real estate matters and mediates a variety of matters.


Jed has been selected by his peers as a SuperLawyer for over a decade, which is awarded to 1% of the lawyers in the state. In 2020, Jed was selected to the Top 100 attorneys in Minnesota. In 2022, Jed was selected to the Minnesota Lawyer POWER 30 list, which recognizes the most influential personal injury lawyers in Minnesota.


Jed received his degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri – Columbia and was member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He next earned his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a member of American Association for Justice, Minnesota Association for Justice (Board of Governors) and the Minnesota State Bar Association. Jed was appointed by the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Services to the Traumatic Brain Injury State Advisory Committee and is a member of the board of Greater Mankato Bike and Walk Advocates. Jed has also served as a conciliation court referee in Blue Earth County.


Jed has handled wrongful death and severe injury cases in many different states across the country against some of the largest corporations in the world, including General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Union Pacific Railroad, Toyota, Nissan, Honeywell, Amazon and others. Jed enjoys spending time with his family, fishing or being outdoors. In addition to coaching his son and daughter’s hockey and baseball/softball teams, Jed plays hockey in the “prestigious” Mankato C League.
