A 57-year old man was driving at highway speed when a driver of a pickup pulling an anhydrous tank suddenly turned left directly in front of him causing a high energy crash. He suffered a concussion, abrasions and laceration to his scalp, a right midshaft femur fracture, a fracture of the pelvis in the posterior column and low back pain.
